Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines Surpasses 2,600,000 Meals! 6/2/2008 Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines packaged 19,224 meals at our Saturday event. Hope’s Kids Against Hunger Food Packaging Trailer packaged 10,368 meals on Thursday evening! That is a total of 29,592 meals packaged for the week! This brings us to a total of 2,608,203 meals packaged so far! Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped this past week. Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines will be packaging meals again on June 6th, 10 AM – 12 PM at Holmes Automotive Group. We are located off of I-80/I-35 and Hickman Road in Clive, Iowa.
