Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines Surpasses 2,500,000 Meals! 5/12/2008 Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines packaged 36,072 meals at our Saturday event. Hope’s Kids Against Hunger Food Packaging Trailer packaged 10,584 meals on Thursday evening! That is a total of 46,656 meals packaged for the week! This brings us to a total of 2,525,043 meals packaged so far! Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped this past week. Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines will be packaging meals again on May 17th, 10 AM – 12 PM at Holmes Automotive Group. We are located off of I-80/I-35 and Hickman Road in Clive, Iowa.
