Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines Packaging Update. 4/21/2008 Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines had a busy week! We packaged 37,368 meals at our last Saturday event. Hope’s Kids Against Hunger Food Packaging Trailer packaged 8,424 meals on Thursday evening! We also had a youth group from Lutheran Church of Hope package 23,112 meals on Sunday evening! That is a total of 68,904 meals packaged for the week! Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped this past week. The meals packaged this past week bring us to a total of 2,375,787 meals packaged so far! Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines will be packaging meals again on April 26th at 10 AM – 12 PM at Holmes Automotive Group. We are located off of I-80/I-35 and Hickman Road in Clive, Iowa.
