Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines sets records! 3/5/2008 Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines packaged a record 46,008 meals at its last event with an extra 3,456 meals, thanks to some Drake University students. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped this past weekend. The 46,008 and 3,456 meals packaged at the last event brings us to a total of 2,028,935 meals packaged so far! Yes, we surpassed our 2 million bench mark goal! Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines will be packaging meals again on March 8th at 10 AM – Noon at Holmes Automotive Group.
