Close to 2 MILLION meals!!! 2/20/2008 Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines packaged 34,776 meals Saturday, and 251,640 meals at Tuesday's PACKING FOOD. FIGHTING HUNGER. event, for a combined total of 286,416! Thank you to Up with People and Kids Against Hunger volunteers who contributed to these events. These events bring us to a total of 1,950,527 meals packaged so far! That's almost 2 MILLION meals! Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines will be packaging meals again on February 23rd at 10 AM – Noon at Holmes Automotive Group. We are located off of I-80/I-35 and Hickman Road in Clive, Iowa.
