Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines Packaging Update! Getting Close to 3 million meals! 10/13/2008 Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines packaged 20,088 meals at our Saturday event. Hope’s Kids Against Hunger Food Packaging Trailer packaged 4,968 meals on Thursday evening! That is a total of 25,056 meals packaged for the week! This brings us to a total of 2,985,555 meals packaged so far! Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped this past week. Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines will be packaging meals again on October 18th, 10 AM – 12 PM at Holmes Automotive Group. We are located off of I-80/I-35 and Hickman Road in Clive, Iowa.
