Kids Against Hunger of Des Moines is sponsoring an ongoing can and bottle drive, with all proceeds being used to help cover the cost of ingredients for weekly meal packaging sessions. Recyclable cans and bottles that qualify for a deposit refund in the state of Iowa may be dropped in the fenced bin that says Cans for Kids, located at Holmes Automotive Group at I-80/35 and Hickman Road.
